In 2009 Munster Schools Rugby celebrated its 100th anniversary. In order to commemorate this momentous occasion Avonmore Super Milk featured three articles in the Irish Examiner which looked back at some of the great heroes of this competition which provides a platform on which rugby players can catapult them selves onto a national rugby stage. In many instances players have gone to succeed at both a provincial and national level. The three players that were profiled were Moss Finn, Anthony Foley and Denise Leamy
